Endorsement Requirements

• Must have a current license from another state

• Provide an Official Certification of Record(s) from the State or Country of your original license and State or Country where you currently hold a valid license

• Graduated from a licensed school, or state approved apprenticeship program

• Passed state examination given by a State Board or Testing Company

• Provide Board Office with an English translation of all documentation relating to training and licensing if the documents are not in English

Procedures

Complete the application with notarized signature 

Copy of current professional license (cosmetology, hair stylist, esthetics, nail tech, instructor)   

Proof of Lawful Presence to include either: 

1. • Copy of current government issued photo ID and social security card or U.S. birth certificate 

OR

• • Copy of current U.S. passport or current permanent resident card

Current photo

• Passport photo or email photo/selfie to cosmetology@wyo.gov (emails must include first and last name)

Endorsement Fee: $273.00 (money order only)

Request all Certifications from State of your original license, and State where you currently hold a valid license

• States will email certification to cosmetology@wyo.gov 

Applications must be mailed to board office at 2515 Warren Avenue, Suite 302, Cheyenne, WY 82002  or faxed to 307-777-3681.  

• Application, payment and documents are not accepted by email (photos are the only requirement accepted by email)
