Exam Procedures 

Theory & Written-Practical:

• • Wyoming requires the NIC theory and written-practical examination. Exams are available at testing centers around the state. Candidate information bulletins regarding exams can be found on this page under Quick Links. Once the board office approves your application you will receive an email from our test administration company ProV, with instructions to schedule and pay for your exams. 

• Once you have passed both your theory and practical exam the board office will issue your license.  You must have your license in-hand prior to working.
